Joseph Zitha

Life motto: "I endeavour to be better than yesterday"

 

Joseph Zitha is an experienced corporate finance executive with more than 13 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, business valuations, black economic empowerment ownership structuring and general business strategy.  He is a former partner and director at one of the big four accounting firms.  Joseph’s M&A experience cuts across all major sectors of the economy, and it includes cross border transactions.  This experience is anchored by strong deal origination and execution skills that deliver value to clients whilst embracing the principles of fairness and sustainable business practices.

 

Joseph lives by the motto: "I endeavour to be better than yesterday".  This encourages Joseph to see and use each day and encounter as a learning experience that shapes how he conducts himself and interact with others, including dealings with clients and business partners.

 

Joseph is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).  He also holds an Executive MBA qualification from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town.

 

Joseph enjoys listening to classical music, and he is an enthusiast runner with several ultra-marathons including the Comrades Marathon.
